Wendy is reflecting on life as she gazes out the window. Thankful for being rescued from a life on the streets by Cat Support Network.
She NEEDS a forever home ASAP (or a foster home)! She will have to go back to Petco and live in the kitty cabinet in just a few days when her temporary foster returns home out of state.
Wendy was trapped at Winco to be spayed, vaccinated, and have her ear tipped before returning her to where she had been living (TNR).
Upon Wendys arrival to the clinic, the clinic staff realized she had cement dried and stuck to her underside... torso and tail. The wonderful people at the clinic were able to shave her fur to remove the cement.
During her recovery from surgery, a Cat Support Network volunteer discovered she was friendly! All foster homes are full and efforts to place her did not pan out. Fortunately, she was able to move into one of the small kitty cabinet condos at Petco. The staff there cared for her and gave her attention as they could. Wendy never complained, but she desperately wanted more interaction with people.
A volunteer decided to bring her home and give her the love she deserves while she is in Brentwood visiting family.
During this time she has discovered toys and has been a purrfect house guest.
PLEASE help Wendy find a forever home. Or even a foster home.
She is independent, loving, playful, beautiful, happy, and very appreciative of having a constant source of food and love.
And she has excellent litter box habits!
Come meet her weekends 1-5 pm at Petco in Brentwood, CA.
