MaryEllen in an independent girl that does very much enjoy being pet and talked to sweetly, but on her terms. When it comes time to settle down for the night, she prefers to pick a spot of her own. She is playful, energetic and enjoys the company of her siblings as well as her human, but again you must be OK with her coming to you when she prefers. She has been exposed to a senior dog and is not at all bothered by him so a friendly, not overly playful dog would be OK to be in the home with slow introduction. Older children only that can understand how to respect her boundaries especially in regards to being picked up and carried is best.
MaryEllen really enjoys the company of her siblings and would either need to be adopted with one or have another young cat in the home that she can bond with. She is not the best matched to be in a home as an only kitty. As always slow and proper introduction to new animals is a must for a successful relationship

You can also visit our resident kitties at this location anytime during regular store hours. Meet & Greets and adoptions take place for these kitties 12-4pm daily.
