Calypso is a lovebug! Originally named because of her ability to hide when she lived outside, her transformation was one of the most shocking of her sisters. She blossomed from a shy, cowering kitten to one that competes with her sisters for attention and will climb into your lap or force her head under your hand if you dare look at something other than her. Her favorite toy is a little green mouse that she carries in her mouth and smacks around the room, but she generally loves to play with anything and everything. She probably will be timid at first, but it will not take long for her to use her squeaky little meow for affection. She loves to lay on your lap and put her paws up on your chest, and she will make it known when she has not received her quota of pets. Calypso especially loves her head and ears being rubbed and will soak in all the love she can get–then ask for more. She may be a little standoffish to another cat at first, but she is interested in other cats and will do well in a home with them. She would be a good pair with Buffy or Pumpkin and often cuddles with her sisters when it is bedtime. She would do well as an only cat, too. She has been introduced to dogs and will probably be scared at first, but overall, she’s curious about them. She would do okay with children if they are gentle. Calypso wants to investigate every corner of a home, pounce on her mice toys, and attach herself to her favorite person. She is a very sweet, gentle girl with a spunky personality and a lot of love to give.
