Bear (DOB: 5.17.23) is a very nervous and shy girl looking for someone who has experience with shy kitties and will love her no matter what. This sweet and very soft girl has been through some trauma in her life that has left her very nervous as to what may come next. Bear was born outside to a stray kitty and when she was only 2 months old she was found being attacked by a dog and had to be removed from the clutches of the dogs mouth. By some miracle she was left uninjured thanks to the fast action of the person that discovered it. When the Good Samaritan brought her to our rescue she was just being introduced to human affection after that ordeal. She has made great progress however is still very very nervous and still learning that people aren’t here to harm her. Despite all of that she actually does well with cat friendly dogs! She also would prefer to either be adopted with a sibling or already have a feline friend in the home (always with slow introductions!)! She loves treats and once she’s comfortable around you will gently take it from your hand with her paw. She will lay with you in bed and relax but needs an extended amount of time to warm up to you first. She would do best in a very quiet, calm household with no children. Overall, she needs someone with experience with and is ok having shy kitties, someone who will love her no matter what and someone who will work with her everyday to slowly earn her trust and continue teaching her that love (and treats!) is what we have to share with her.

All of our kitties are already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for any external or internal parasites.
