Misty (dob: 8.18.24) came to her current foster extremely fearful of humans. After about three weeks of gentle love, patience and lots of treats and play sessions, she has really blossomed. Misty is now very confident and active! She loves to play more than anything. Swing around a toy on a string and you’re her best friend! It may take some time for her to warm up to a new environment and new people, but she will come around and before you know it you’ll be petting that soft beautiful fur of hers. Misty is suspected to have a very mild case of a VERY common kitty virus called FVR that will be with her for life but usually only flares up in times of stress. Her symptoms tend to be teary eyes and an occasional runny nose. Please ask us for more information before letting that discourage you from bringing this beautiful girl home! Misty will need a calm household with no young kids or dogs as this may be too stressful for her. Calm, loving teenagers ok. We would love to see Misty be adopted with her sister Cookie, if possible!
