This precious orange tabby was abandoned by his family and left to fend for himself. Mild mannered and always the purr-fect gentleman, Orange Boy found himself often beat up and battered by neighborhood bully cats.

Orange Boy was rescued by a kind neighbor. Orange Boy is so excited and happy to be back in a loving home that there are times he gets anxious that you will stop petting him and reaches out to make sure you do not stop. For this reason, a home without young children is preferable. However, in time and once he is confident he is really HOME - he will blossom into the cat of your dreams - the stuff that has made the reputation of orange tabbies as the most beloved and lovable cats of all.

Orange Boy's exposure to dogs is not known. He could easily tolerate a home where he is the only pet. He tolerates other cats but because he has been bullied - he is wary. In a loving situation, with one other nice cat he does quite well. Recently he was housed next to a mama and her babies and thoroughly enjoyed them.  Never a hiss or any aggression at all.

Orange Boy is very tidy, perfect with his litter box use and would never think of spraying. He keeps himself well-groomed and only shows a slight scar on his nose from his former life.

Orange Boy prefers to stay within Contra Costa County but neighboring counties would be considered too.

Orange Boy is eligible for our "foster-to-adopt" program. That means you take Orange Boy home for a period of time (usually around one month) to see if you are a match - does your family and pets like Orange Boy and does Orange Boy like your family and pets?

If it turns out to be a match, then we will complete the adoption process. While Orange Boy is in the foster-to-adopt program, he still belongs to Cat Support Network and we cover any medical needs. It a great way to see if you are both ready to commit! Kind supporters and OB fan club members have even offered to pay his adoption fee for you!

PLEASE GIVE THIS VERY SPECIAL BOY A CHANCE - you will be happy you did.
